The Bunyip crew joined fellow history buffs last night for local artist Martin Johnsons' launch of 'From Humbug to Significant Voice'. The book, which coincides with The Bunyip's 160th anniversary, pays tribute to the Barnet family, who saw the town’s newspaper grow with Gawler and its many stories. The 28 stories which appear in this book were selected by local author Martin Johnson from his Around the Block with Martin Johnson series of articles he wrote for The Bunyip from 1998 until 2003.
